Why do insurance companies want to do business with Intuitive?
Intuitive has excellent relationships with its markets and has earned a high level of trust from the underwriters with whom we work. We know what carriers look for. Our in depth knowledge of the business, attention to detail and ability to match risk to underwriting appetite save carriers time and enable them to write business more efficiently and cost effectively.
What do I need to do in order to do business with Intuitive?
All you need to do is complete the Agency Profile and provide licensing, proof of E&O insurance and a W-9 tax form. Getting appointed is an easy process and can be completed within the same day your information is received. There are no minimum premium volume requirements in order to place business with us.
What's involved in placing business with Intuitive?
It's very easy. We accept standard ACORD forms via fax, e-mail and regular mail. Our turnaround time of 48 hours on new business is among the fastest in the business.
How does Intuitive handle BORs?
Send us a letter on the insured's letterhead, signed by a corporate officer stating that Intuitive and your agency are the representatives for the insured. Once accepted, the quote is issued immediately to the agency. I've got an account in a state I don't write a lot of business in. Where can I easily get copies of state forms?

How much commission does Intuitive pay?
Based on the volume of business we deliver, we can negotiate preferred commission agreements with our insurance companies. This enables us to pay competitive commission rates to our agents while earning a fair profit margin on the book of business we manage. Commissions vary by state and the carrier with which the business is placed.
Where do I send my payment?
Direct Bill: Payments should be sent directly to the insurance carrier as billed.
Agency Bill: Payments should be sent to Intuitive on the later of the effective date or the bill date (policy effective 3/1 and billed 3/5, payment due 3/5)
When will I get my endorsement?
30-60 days after receipt.
What is the process for handling any audit discrepancies?
A written audit dispute must be filed directly with the carrier within the audit/billing period. Once the dispute is filed, all billing and rating actions are suspended until resolved. The insured is always welcome to contact the carrier regarding any and all audit dispute questions, concerns and issues. Intuitive is available to assist if necessary.

Intuitive's office hours are 7 am – 4 pm (Mountain Time).
